French 2 at Penn State

French 2 is designed for students who have successfully completed French 1, its equivalent, or for students who have taken two years of high school French. The purpose of the class is to create and maintain a learning community that provides opportunities for studying French language and French and Francophone cultures, as well as meaningful, real-life practice of French. This is achieved through balanced practice in the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
