Adeline Aileo

Biography:

Adeline Aileo received her B.A. in linguistics with a focus on teaching French as a foreign language from the University Nancy 2 - Faculty of Arts & Human Sciences. She obtained her M.A. in English Translation and French Sign Language Interpretation from the University Le Mirail. In France, 2008-2013, Adeline worked as a French Sign Language interpreter working most of the time in schools at all levels, from preschool to university, and interpreting all subjects, from French to Electronics. In the United States of America, she finished her course work for her PhD in the department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education at Penn State, her focus is in Early Childhood Education and Inclusion. From 2015 to 2017, Adeline taught the course CI 295A at Penn State for the College of Education. Also, she is currently finishing the course work to obtain her certification to teach French in Pennsylvanian public schools and tutors in French for students looking for help.

Adeline is fluent in French, French Sign Language, American Sign Language and can communicate in Swedish and German. She is currently learning Spanish and Italian.
